The Movement Lives on Without Roe: Support Pregnancy Justice's Work

Through a combination of legal advocacy, organizing and public education, we work to defend the rights of all people with the capacity for pregnancy.

The Supreme Court has overturned Roe. Roe was never enough, but the movement lives on. Pregnancy Justice has been defending clients criminalized for pregnancy and its outcomes for decades, and we are uniquely prepared for this. We will persevere.

States don't need abortion bans to criminalize pregnant people. More than 1,700 have been criminalized since the 1973 Roe ruling using everything from murder to manslaughter to child neglect charges. But losing Roe will only accelerate this trend.

Now more than ever, it’s time to fight for a world where all pregnant people are treated with dignity and humanity, free from criminalization and state violence.
